About Buxton Ballet

Buxton Ballet is a friendly, professional and nurturing ballet school run by ex professional ballet dancer and Royal Academy of Dance Registered Teacher Daisy Hulbert. Daisy trained at Central School of Ballet and Elmhurst Ballet School before performing with Birmingham Royal Ballet. She later danced professionally abroad in ballets including Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker before returning to the UK to join the West End cast of The Phantom of the Opera playing Meg Giry. Daisy went on to play the role of the White Cat in Cats the musical. After a 10 year career on stage Daisy completed the Professional Dancers' Teaching Diploma at the Royal Academy of Dance and began teaching full time. She has taught at several vocational dance schools including Tring Park and The Urdang Academy in London, in addition to guest teaching across the UK.
